The scenic art noveau town, situated where the ocean meets the magnificent and majestic fjords, Ålesund is known for its history, going back to the age of the vikings, known internationally for its maritime cluster and as a center for fish production and export.
Here, in the timeframe 21st – 23rd May 2020 on behalf of the European Maritime Pilots’ Association, the Norwegian Pilots’ Association will arrange the 56th annual European football championship for maritime pilots.
Scandic Parken Hotel will be base camp for the tournament, and where the dinner party will be held on Friday night.

The tournament will be held in Langevåg, 30 minutes' drive from Ålesund. The football pitches are two with artifical grass and one with natural grass. Nearby the pitches you can also play football golf, frisbee golf, sand football and sand volleyball.
The ladies tour will be a fantastic boat trip from Ålesund to the majestic Hjørundfjord. Here you will have lunch and enjoy the spectacular view before the boat takes you to the historic Devold factory in Langevåg - now transformed into a shopping mall with several opportunities for bargains and experiences. Here you can enjoy some shopping before coming to the field for the finals in the tournament.
The dinner and dance party will be held at the Scandic Parken Hotel.
